The Air Training Corps is a national youth organisation sponsored by the Royal Air Force in the UK. Membership is open to young people aged between 13 and 20 years.
The "Air Cadets" provides the opportunity for members to take part in a huge and diverse range of exciting and challenging activities. Many are organized at National and Regional level, many others take place locally at Wing and Squadron levels.
If your interest is in Flying, Sports, Adventure Training, Camping, Engineering, Shooting, Drill, Music, Watersports, Abseiling, Overseas Travel& (the list is a VERY long one!) you will find out about these and much more by joining
80 (Bolton) Squadron.

Battle of Britain Sunday: Manchester
Sunday 5th SeptemberBattle of Britain parade in Manchester.
Cadets are to arrange their own transport to Manchester's Albert Square (Town Hall) for 1400hrs. Uniform is No 2 SD (Wedgwood shirt and tie and jumpers)
Email quoted below:
"The parade will assemble outside the Town Hall in Albert Sq at 1400 for a march off at 1430. The service will be in St Ann's church as usual."

Squadron Events
The following are events which are happening on parade nights.Friday 3rd September: Bowling Night
The Squadron will be shut on Friday for a bowling night at Hollywood Bowl in Middlebrook Retail Park. Cadets are to arrange their own transport to and from the venue and are required to bring £6 with them for the games. Start arriving at 18:30 for 19:00 bowling and ends at 21:00.
Tuesday 7th September: Cooking Competition
There is an inter-flight cooking competition on Tuesday. All cadets are to bring their own food. More details to follow.
Friday 10th September: Intake Night
The Squadron will host an intake night for new cadets. Can all current cadets please spread the word on this and invite friends over who may be interested in joining the Air Training Corps at 80 (Bolton) Squadron.
