Message of thanks, OC GM Wg
Colleagues,
Sunday the 12th February witnessed 718 cadets and staff from Greater Manchester Wing take to the streets of Manchester for our annual service of commemoration, but also our inaugural service as Greater Manchester Wing and the dedication of our new banner.
Thank you to all who turned out. A truly fitting start to what I am sure will be a hugely successful wing. A huge thank you to Sqn Ldr Linehan for making the arrangements and to Warrant Officer O'Brien and the NCO team for ensuring that the parade was conducted with the right amount of military precision. The Lord Lieutenant, Lord Mayor and Regional Commandant each commented upon the professionalism of the parade and service. You should all be very proud of what you achieved.
Please pass on my thanks to all cadets and staff involved.
J Betts
